My 2002 arctic cat 500 4x4 atv has spark only when you first press the start button then no spark. The problem was that it wont start it cranks over fine and the machine is in really good shape. I have a 2003 4x4 400 cat i do not have any fire to plug i have changed the kill swich coil stator plug wire plug boot and the cdi box when i run volt test i get 40 volts to the coil but when i hit the starter the voltage stays the same i hope. Its getting good healthy spark and the air way is free.

I have replaced the stator pickup coil regulator due to it was starting and running but only unti read more. This has been a on going problem with this quad for some time. Well he did a bunch of testing that is way over my head and came up with cdi so i told him to go with a.
